He currently serves as an NHL Scout for the Seattle Kraken, leading player recruitment across the Western United States and Canada while managing athlete partnerships, immigration, and compliance to support seamless roster development. Previously, Doug spent a decade with the San Jose Sharks, rising from Hockey Operations & Scouting Analyst to Director of Scouting. During his tenure, he led NHL Draft strategy, international free-agent signings, and NCAA recruitment, contributing to seven playoff appearances, two Western Conference Finals, and a Stanley Cup Final. A graduate of Tufts University with an MBA from Santa Clara University, Doug is passionate about developing players, advancing data-driven scouting, and mentoring the next generation of sports professionals.
