Ronnie is the Director of Development at ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business, where he oversees day-to-day operations and leads a team in achieving significant fundraising goals to support educational initiatives. With an extensive background in fundraising, strategy development, and organizational leadership at institutions such as the Air Force Academy and the University of Nevada, Ronnie excels in cultivating donor relationships and securing major gifts.
In addition to his time in college athletics and higher education advancement Ronnie worked for the Commissioner’s Office of Major League Baseball as a Baseball Operations Supervisor overseeing the administrative portion of the MLB Draft and operations of the Arizona Fall League. His experience as an adjunct professor in sports management allows him to bridge academia and practical application, bringing a strategic and holistic approach to mentorship. He is eager to leverage his diverse skill set to guide emerging professionals through their career journeys. Academically, he holds a Masters in Legal Studies with an emphasis in sports law and business from Arizona State University, Masters of Business Administration from the University of Colorado, and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Education with an emphasis in Leadership and Innovation from ASU. A former collegiate baseball player he graduated from California Lutheran University with a B.A. in Communications.
